�This course is designed to provide Construction Professionals with a general overview of Personal Protective Equipment as outlined in the OSHA Publication, 3151-12R, developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration under the U.S. Department of Labor. It covers different hazards in the workplace and discusses how to protect workers against a variety of circumstances with appropriate PPE selection, such as, eye, face, hand, foot and leg protection.�It details proper maintenance of all the different types and forms of PPE, teaches how to properly conduct a Hazard Assessment of the workplace, and explains hazards that can cause bodily injury and effective protective clothing and materials that can be worn to prevent them.
