This course details the major changes and amendments to the Base Volume of 780 CMR, pinpointing areas that are new to this code cycle and explaining how the Massachusetts volume differs from the International Building Code for each change in Chapters 2 through 10, including new definitions in chapter 2, use and occupancy classifications and details in chapters 3 and 4, including bulk merchandising retail buildings, motion picture and TV production facilities, summer camps for children and night clubs, fire protection requirements in chapter 9, means of egress requirements in chapter 10, and accessibility references in chapter 11.
