This course is designed to provide engineers with an understanding of the statutes and regulations that govern the ethical obligations of Public Officials, specifically geared to address interaction with Building Officials, Building Inspectors, & Plans Examiners. The course relays the fundamental importance of having ethical regulations for public officials, the intentions and ramifications of the Florida Sunshine Law, and the public view on ethics, morals, and the accountability of public officials as it has evolved over time.
