This course is designed to provide Construction Professionals with a thorough understanding of wood-based composites, their composition materials, methods of manufacture, and product applications.�The process of how sizing agents, fire-retardant chemicals and preservative treatments are added to composites to increase water, fire and insect resistance will be revealed, as well as, the capabilities, characteristics and the interesting manufacturing process of structural glue-laminated timber (Glulam). Also covered in this section will be the different types of Structural Composite Lumber such as LVL, LSL, PSL & OSL. (Self Paced Class)
