This course details the United States Department of Energy sourcebook on increasing the efficiency of a pumping system, while also giving tips on how to save money in the process. Part I of the course covers system basics, types of pumps and their applications, the components and principals of a pumping system, principals of design, and common problems associated with pumping systems.
